Ask the Library
Get help from a librarian or an academic skills advisor. They can assist you with your studies, coursework, assessment, finding information and using the Library.
Hours and locations
There are four Library sites located on the City, Brunswick, and Bundoora campuses. There is a Makerspace on the City campus in Franklin Street. RMIT University Archives is at Bundoora campus.
Computers and study spaces
Each Library site has computers (no booking required), and group study rooms, which you can reserve using Resource Booker.
Makerspace
The Makerspace is a place for RMIT community to come together, share skills and experience, creatively collaborate and learn from each other.
Inclusion and safety
The Library provides a positive, welcoming, and enriching experience for all members of the community.
Responsible practice
The Library is creating physical and virtual environments where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices, ideas and concerns can be safely expressed, heard and amplified.
Student placements
Information for students and educators interested in Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and work placements in the Library.
Community visitors
Our Library is open to community visitors and researchers. Membership is not required to access physical collections, free online resources and open study spaces. There are also options for those wishing to borrow from our collections.
