Step 3: Refine your list

Figuring out which course to pursue can be the hardest part of this process for many people. Start by narrowing down your comparison dashboard to your top two or three courses and make a note of any question you may have.

Make sure to check that you meet the entry requirements and that you understand the selection tasks you may need to complete.

Step 4: Ask questions

Refined your list to two or three choices, but not sure where to go next? Study@RMIT is the best place to ask questions that will help you narrow your list even further. Visit us in-person or start a live chat online.

Some questions you may want to ask include:

  • Can I study while working full time?

  • How flexible are classes? Can they be tailored around my commitments? (*remove from question list)

  • How do I build industry connections through this degree?

  • What are some examples of projects I will undertake through the degree?

  • How is the course structured?

  • What kind of electives can I choose?

  • Where can I find out more about career outcomes of a course, industry job growth and projected salary?

  • Can I be credited for my previous study or work experience?

Step 5: Attend an event

You can meet RMIT lecturers and staff to find out more information about your course by attending a postgraduate information session. Here you can speak directly to your lecturers and find out more about job prospects, course content and the application process.

These events may take place online or on campus. Find out more about our upcoming event by exploring our event page
