A Study Abroad program is a fantastic opportunity for international students to study courses at RMIT University in Melbourne, for either one semester (around six months) or two semesters (one year).

You can design your own Study Abroad program by selecting courses from across any of RMIT University’s disciplines, as long as you have the necessary prerequisites.
RMIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The majority of students on undergraduate degrees choose courses from our undergraduate programs and the same with postgraduate students. However it may be possible in some circumstances for undergraduate students to choose some postgraduate courses.

For 2025 the fee for international students taking part in the Study Abroad program at RMIT is AU$11,520 per semester.

As an International Student, it is a condition of your student visa that you have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the entire duration of your stay in Australia.
