Statement: International Education and Skills Strategic Framework

RMIT welcomes the draft International Education and Skills Strategic Framework released today by the Federal Government.

"International students are integral to Australia's university and skills sector and contribute to a dynamic learning environment that creates value in Australia and in many countries, especially the Asia Pacific region.

“RMIT supports a managed approach for sustainable growth of international education to ensure the integrity of the system and predictability of student numbers for government and universities.

"RMIT looks forward to reviewing the detail and being actively involved in the consultation process."
