The BITS-RMIT Higher Education Academy is the first dual-degree initiative between India and Australia.

The BITS-RMIT Higher Education Academy (The Academy) delivers a high-quality international education experience to Indian students while enriching the academic exchange between the two institutions.

The Academy creates a new pathway to educate high performing students within both undergraduate and post graduate programs along with delivering collaborative research opportunities and growing industry connections. 
 

The Academy currently offers four undergraduate engineering programs featuring a dual-degree pathway and a PhD program.

Bachelor degrees are offered in: 

  • Civil and Infrastructure Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering 
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Electronics and Computer System Engineering
  • Software Engineering

The Academy also includes a joint PhD program which offers co-supervision of candidates from both institutions, and a year at RMIT in Melbourne as part of the candidature.
