CIRCLE Projects

CIRCLE is an interdisciplinary research, teaching and consulting unit in the School of Global Studies, Social Science and Planning. We have a particular focus on using program theory, realist approaches and mixed methods research techniques to evaluate programs and help build evaluation capacity in organisations.

We work with Schools and research centres across RMIT, with other universities, and with government agencies and departments nationally and internationally to:

  • conduct evaluations,
  • undertake research into evaluation,
  • supervise postgraduate research students,
  • deliver short courses in evaluation, and
  • provide consulting services to government and non-government organisations

CIRCLE undertakes projects in diverse fields, including: education, health promotion, criminal justice, emergency health care, family strengthening, community capacity building, bushfire community safety, agricultural research and extension, and whole-of-government performance monitoring.

For further information about CIRCLE, to discuss possible consultancy research, or to find out more about our activities, please contact Associate Professor Patricia Rogers on 03 9925 2854 or E-mail at Patricia.Rogers@rmit.edu.au
