Course Description
This course provides knowledge and skills of eProcurement, online auctions and private and public net markets facilitating B2B exchanges. An overview of B2B eBusiness issues, concepts, infrastructure, partner relationship issues and supply management will be presented and analysed in this course.
Objectives/Learning Outcomes/Capability Development

On successful completion of this course you will be able to:
- Critically analyse business practices and processes, incorporating the Internet into business practices to enhance the efficiency and effective of eBusiness, Supply Chain and Procurement processes.
- Apply the knowledge and skills obtained to develop and present business solutions in areas such as electronic procurement, supply chain management and business
- Communicate and interpret ideas related to the principles of electronic procurement in a business environment
- Analyse the global business information technology environment and recognise the changing needs of customers and the resulting impact on resources
- Critically and methodically appraise problems related to the management of procurement and supply chain operations to inform business decisions
Overview of Learning Activities
Lectures are designed to provide you with a broad understanding of concepts relating to eProcurement, the supply chain and B2B. Your active and constructive participation in these lectures is expected in addition to weekly readings and other assigned materials and careful planning and completion of assessment tasks.

In addition to topic notes; assessment details and a study schedule you may also be provided with links to relevant online information; readings; audio and video clips and communication tools to facilitate collaboration with your peers and to share information.
