Students require completion of Multimedia courses up to and including Year 3 level in business, programming and multimedia in line with the current Bachelor of Design Multimedia degree.

Course Description
Multimedia Project allows students to practise the media skills they have learnt by performing an RMIT project. Here they will put computer skills to use in a project application. These courses are an alternative to a work placement.
This is one of a group of the four courses shown below: that must be taken concurrently.

Objectives/Learning Outcomes/Capability Development
To develop the skills students have learned during the course by performing a project activity.
Capabilities
Capabilities generated will be in the area of the project requirements but will be in one or more of the following areas, Business, Engineering, Multimedia or Information technology.
You will develop expertise in the business, engineering media or software skills you have applied in order to complete your project. These skills will also include working as part of a project team, setting project goals and working together to meet these goals.
Overview of Learning Activities
Learning activities will be the application of programming, business or media skills to the project you are completing. Learning activities will involve working as part of a project team, setting project goals and working as a team to meet these goals.

Supervision, computer resources and library resources.

Assessment will be by means of Project Proposal, intra-semester presentations and submissions, final presentation and final report.
