Overview of Learning Activities
It is expected that students revise Interactive lecture materials each week and prepare in advance for the following week’s Interactive lecture and practical workshop activities. It's very important for students to dedicate at least four additional hours for study and complete class work at home.
The mode of delivery requires that you revise lecture material each week and prepare for workshop activities. Short activities at the commencement of each workshop will provide you with feedback on how your learning is progressing.
The Workshop Resources are divided into 3 components -
- Preparatory Learning Activities (PLA) are completed at home/before class
- Workshop Learning Activities (WLA) are in-class facilitated activities
- Consolidated Learning Activities (CLA) are supplementary resources that reinforce your understanding of the material covered. Sometimes the CLA may incorporate extension activities. CLAs have few instructions especially when they are reinforcing activities already completed.
You are strongly advised to attend and participate in all sessions as crucial elements to the assessments will be discussed and practised in the form of
- quizzes that must be uploaded onto Canvas
- Documentation Tools which contain Revision Questions
