Course Description
This course is designed to provide you with the applied knowledge of lifelong physical activities in the school context.
You will develop the basic knowledge, understanding and legal framework of road safety, swimming, water safety and other lifelong physical activities. The course will be taught using a range of teaching styles and pedagogies. It will also utilize partnerships with industry specific bodies.

In this course you will develop the following program learning outcomes:
- Demonstrate broad and coherent theoretical and technical knowledge in practical applications in Health, Physical Education and Sport
- Consolidate and synthesise expert content and pedagogical content knowledge and apply evidence-based, high-impact teaching strategies in professional practice
- Analyse and evaluate student-centred learning approaches to plan effectively for differentiation in health, physical education and sport
- Create a safe and engaging learning environment using inclusive strategies, sustainable practices and digital technologies for diverse audiences

Your learning in this course will involve a range of face-to-face and online activities including lectures, workshops, practical activities, readings, collaborative group work, class discussion and individual reflection.
