Course Description
Experience in clinical departments is vital to developing clinical competence. This course provides you with this experience and the tools to maximise your clinical learning. This course builds on Radiation Therapy 4 and Radiation Therapy Practice 2. After completion of this course you will be able to assist with routine clinical procedures under supervision and organise your clinical learning in relation to your development needs for future success.

On successful completion of this course you should be able to:
- Perform and explain, under direct supervision, a wide range of routine radiation therapy pre-treatment and on-treatment procedures.
- Demonstrate high standards of professional behaviour, and high-level interpersonal and communication skills
- Apply a holistic approach to clinical management and patient care.
- Demonstrate literature review skills and professional development planning.
- Identify and critique the complex technological principles, physics concepts and instruments of radiation therapy practice essential to the delivery of safe and effective clinical care
