Course Description
This course will extend the skills and knowledge you have gained in the course GRAP2872 Textile Design Expressions to enable you to effectively develop and present a range of textile concepts relative to specific industry contexts.
The aim of this course is to further refine your knowledge of the terminology and industry specifications for textile-related applications. You will represent textile concepts through digital design and communication.
The aim of this course is to introduce industry conventions such as standard textile product names, descriptions, and industry specific terms and language. This is supported by other methods of communication within the textiles industry including image making through drawing, video and digital media.
