Course Description
Medical Radiations involves a significant amount of management of confidential patient data. In this course, you will learn the principles of confidential data management, using patient data to streamline your workflow and record patient histories, and applying information systems to produce best outcomes for patients whilst maintaining patient privacy in accordance with relevant privacy legislation.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Discuss legislative requirements applicable to patient privacy in the electronic management of patient data
- Utilise information management systems in line with relevant patient privacy legislation when sharing data across health care platforms
- Appraise the use of data sharing, to develop innovative solutions for improving social determinants of community health.
Overview of Learning Activities
You will be actively engaged in a range of learning activities such as lectorials, tutorials, practicals, individual and group activities. These will be supplemented by self-directed online learning. Attendance at practicals is essential for demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills
