“Becoming an effective writer: Key strategies and best practices” panel discussion

Join us for this in-person event featuring well-established RMIT scholars discussing what it takes to become an effective research writer.

Topics will include habits for writing well, tools and the use of Gen AI, writing for a researcher audience and managing the peer review process. Participants will have the opportunity to ask their own questions in a Q&A followed by refreshments and afternoon tea. The panel will consist of: 

  • Professor Catherine Gomes, Media and Communications, DSC 
  • Professor Marco Amati, Sustainability and Urban Planning, GUSS 
  • Professor Dinesh Kumar, Biomedical Engineering, STEM
