Preparing students from related fields for a successful career in data, analytics & AI, through an authentic and purposeful WIL experience from application through to training and mentoring.
The (Data Innovation Hub) experience helped close the gap between what I learned from the university and what is practiced in the industry… It offered me the opportunity to work together with the industry partner for six months to familiarise myself with typical data analytics tasks, stakeholder communication skills and the agile development paradigm. A lot of attention and mentoring was given to me by seniors in the team which was a rare and great experience. The experience helped me to realise that the architecture of data applications is a very important topic in the industry and will be one of my major focus in the next of my studies.
