Chemical engineering at RMIT combines engineering science, design and practice. Our programs are well recognised by industry, so your qualification can take you anywhere in Australia or around the world.

You'll learn to turn raw materials into products like pharmaceuticals, petrol, plastics and food; and find ways to make the processing industries more efficient and environmentally sound. Our well-equipped laboratories give you practical experience and prepare you for the workforce.
