The Flash-Fire Laboratory for Advanced Manikin & Material Evaluation (FLAMME) facility enables the assessment of the thermal protection performance for materials concerned with urban and rural environments and applications for high-performance textiles that deliver solutions for safer and healthier lives.

The FLAMME facility is capable of testing a wide range of garment types from everyday items to technical Personal Protective Clothing (PPC) in Firefighting, Mining and Aerospace industries.
