RMIT is committed to expanding our global engagement through the development of international partnerships.
Our aim is to extend our physical and virtual presence through international campuses and international partnerships. To achieve this, we seek quality partners who share RMIT’s passion for delivering a positive student experience.

RMIT has over 25 years of experience in delivering programs internationally and is one of Australia’s most experienced providers of transnational education. We are also the largest transnational education provider of Australian Higher Education. Today, we have over 17,000 students studying at international locations spanning seven countries. We deliver learning and teaching to meet the requirements of students and international communities in which RMIT operates and specialises in the provision of contextualised content.
RMIT has a number of different transnational education arrangements for the delivery of our programs outside Australia. These arrangements operate in line with the university’s academic policies and procedures.
RMIT has worked with international partners to deliver RMIT award programs to thousands of students in their home country.
In line with University Policy for Partnered delivery of coursework awards, the learning outcomes of graduates who complete an award at any of our international partnership locations will be the same as those who have studies in Australia or other RMIT campus locations. Students are given an identical award on completion irrespective of the delivery location.
RMIT collaborate with various local stakeholders, including industry and government, to develop our branch campuses offshore. RMIT Vietnam is Vietnam’s first and only fully foreign-owned university, delivering internationally recognised degree programs from our campuses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
