Learn to fly at the RMIT Aviation Academy at the Bendigo Airfield and train with an internationally recognised team of instructors. Established in 1994, RMIT's Aviation Academy has trained more than 3,500 pilots worldwide, with graduates in senior roles at major airlines like Qantas, Virgin Australia, Cathay Pacific, Oman Air and Air China.

How to get to Bendigo Airfield

Bendigo Airfield is located at 35 Victa Road, East Bendigo, approximately six kilometres from Bendigo CBD, with convenient access by public transport and driving.

From Bendigo: Bendigo Airfield can be reached via the Bendigo bus network, connecting with major hubs in the region. Route 60 buses are available from Bendigo Station to McDowalls Road (approximately 1 kilometre from Bendigo Airfield).

From Melbourne: Bendigo Station is the nearest train station with V/Line services from Melbourne. From RMIT City Campus, the closest train station is Melbourne Central Station. There are connecting services from Melbourne Central to the Bendigo V/Line train. Southern Cross Station offers a direct service to Bendigo. 

From Bendigo: Take the Midland Highway towards East Bendigo, and turn onto Tully Road.

From Melbourne: Drive on Calder Freeway (M79) and exit towards Bendigo. Follow the signs to the Midland Highway and turn onto Tully Road.
