RMIT Lookout

RMIT Lookout is an independent, not-for-profit fact-checking organisation that works to slow the spread of misinformation and disinformation in Australia. Our experienced team of journalists identifies, reviews and rates social media content that has the potential to harm people or undermine democratic processes.

We operate as a project of the RMIT Information Integrity Hub in the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University. Our goal is to bring together expert scholarship and journalistic inquiry to provide high-quality fact checking in the public interest.
