Senior Lecturer in Microbiology
Dr. Charmaine Lloyd joined RMIT University in July 2023. She taught Microbiology and related STEM courses for the past 16 years at the Polytechnic and University level in India, Singapore (SG) and Australia. She has been recognised for her dedication to teaching with three School Teaching awards (Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore), two national awards (EXSA Gold, Singapore), one national society award in Australia i.e. the Australian Society of Microbiology (ASM) Early Career Excellence in Teaching Award and the Vice Chancellor's special mention for her efforts in WIL Industry Engagement at Swinburne University of Technology (2022). She is currently the ASM Education Special Interest Group (EdSIG) convenor and ASM EduCon conference organiser for 2024-'25.
