Robyn Moroney is a Professor and Head of the Department of Accounting in the School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain at RMIT University. She has previously held appointments at Monash, University of Melbourne, and UNSW.
Robyn has published in leading journals including Contemporary Accounting Research, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, European Accounting Review and Abacus. She is an editor at the International Journal of Auditing and sits on the editorial boards at Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Behavioral Research in Accounting, Issues in Accounting Education and Managerial Auditing Journal.
Robyn is co-author of a leading auditing textbook: Auditing: A Practical Approach. She is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand's Trans-Tasman Audit Advisory Committee and is a past member of their Quality Review Committee. Robyn was a member of the Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand's Board for six years and deputy/chaired their Auditing and Assurance Special Interest Group for over ten years.
