Research supervision
Yang joined the School of Management, RMIT in Oct 2022 from NZ where he completed the PhD and began his academic career. Yang's research focuses on international strategy and MNCs. He also conducts projects on family firms and entrepreneurship.
Yang is active in research and passionate about research-led teaching. He has taught extensive international business courses, including global business environment, MNC strategy, and international management. He is student-oriented, aiming to provide frontier knowledge in class and encourage participation. Yang currently undertakes the program manager role for the Global Business program/major in the School of Management.

Prior to his academic career, Yang worked in the import/export industry and foreign subsidiaries in China. It also inspired him to conduct research in international business. Yang continues developing ties with industry parties and pleases free to approach him regarding industry collaborations.
