Umesh Ganesh - Master of Business Administration

As a student who was used to a completely different culture of learning and preparing assignments, I was finding it difficult to navigate through my assignments and faced a lot of challenges when it came to finding resources. I then got an email that Peer Mentoring services for the subjects I'm enrolled in was available.

I signed up for it immediately. It took me less than 5 minutes to register and I was able to comfortably find students who could help with my doubts and queries regarding studies. I messaged a peer mentor based on what they had put in their bio about themselves and I got an immediate response.

My mentor helped me, guided me and understood what I wanted to know. Without a doubt, all my questions were answered.

I have used the Academic Writing service provided by the one-on-one consultations via RMIT Student Support on many occasions during the completion of my Master and have always found the service to be incredibly useful.

Not only are the assessors always highly supportive and wonderfully responsive, even when I have asked if it was viable to receive feedback in a tight turnaround time, but their comments and assessment of my writing has always provided me with a great ability to revisit areas of my assessment that required more thought or research.

I am extremely grateful to have had access to Liz and her team and their valuable assistance has aided me immensely in ensuring my work has been completed to the highest standard that I am able to produce.  I cannot recommend this friendly, highly beneficial service more highly to students.

I used the peer mentoring and Academic Skills, Advisors, which helped me to find solutions for my academic problems such as referencing and writing structure.
