Scholarships driving students toward success

With the cost of living taking its toll on students, there’s never been a better time to apply for a scholarship.

Scholarship applications for Semester 2 are now open.

Scholarships have been critical in providing students with the resources needed to be successful in their studies and help ease financial burdens.

Eden Muster, who is studying Bachelor of Arts (Photography), received the IDEA Photography Scholarship for her creative excellence in her photography.

The scholarship has helped provide Eden with living expenses and equipment and props necessary for photoshoots.

Eden said receiving the scholarship was affirming for her.

“Upon receiving the scholarship I felt recognised and affirmed that I was on the right track, that I have the potential to make something of myself as a photographer,” she said.

“I have doubted myself and the decisions I've made in life now and then, but after getting the scholarship I felt like it was worth it.”

I felt proud of course and just so fortunate that I have this opportunity.

Diploma of Accounting student Ahmad Zia Badr recently received the Cheng King Law Scholarship, which he allocated towards covering his educational expenses, including textbooks, and other necessary materials for his degree.

He said that receiving the scholarship was an incredibly gratifying experience.

“It instilled a profound sense of appreciation and motivation to excel in my academic pursuits.”

“Knowing that my hard work and dedication have been recognized and supported by RMIT University filled me with immense pride and gratitude.”

Ahmad Zia extends his gratitude toward the scholarship donor.

Thank you for making a difference in my life and the lives of countless others through your philanthropy and generosity.
