"There is nothing to lose by applying!" – Scholarships now open for Semester 1, 2025

Scholarship applications for Semester 1, 2025 are open until Monday 14 October. Learn what's available and why you should consider applying.

Scholarships have been critical in providing life-changing support for students, helping ease financial burdens throughout their studies.

There are a multitude of scholarships available for domestic students to help them achieve their study goals.

Previous scholarship recipients Muzafar Ali and Glynn Egger share how their scholarships have helped them excel both academically and personally.

Glynn Egger - Bachelor of Business

What scholarship did you receive?

RMIT Study Support Scholarship

How did you spend the scholarship?

On necessities like rent and food. I don't spend much on other things and live quite frugally. Cost of living is way up, as we all know! It's enabled me to focus more on my studies as opposed to just getting by.

How has the scholarship changed your studies/life?

The scholarship I received reduced the pressure to pay my rent and pay for food. This enabled me to focus more on my studies, which will have a significant impact on my future!

I am very thankful, and when I have the opportunity I'll be sure to help those in similar situations, just as the donor has helped me.

What would you say to a future applicant about this scholarship?

There is nothing to lose by applying! Take every opportunity afforded to you! The mere opportunity to receive this scholarship is one very few people around the world can take - not applying would be such a waste.

Apply, have faith, and use it effectively towards securing yourself a more prosperous future!

In five years time, remember what you've been given, and pay it forward for people with similar hardships to yourself.
