A team of RMIT academic skills advisors and librarians can help you either in-person or online. We look forward to assisting you, however we are unable to proofread or edit your assignments.

The one-on-one consultations service provides study help from RMIT expert academic skills advisors and librarians. Get professional assistance with finding and evaluating information, assignment writing, academic English, study skills, referencing, maths, science and more.

We can help you with:

Writing Skills Advisors can help you with:

  • assignment planning and structure
  • academic writing, referencing and online resources
  • general study skills (e.g. time management, reading strategies and note-taking)
  • preparing for online assessments
  • and more!

Academic Skills Advisors cannot proofread or edit your assignments.

Val, RMIT’s official, free-to-use generative AI tool, help you with suggestions on grammar and tone, taking on the role of an editorial assistant and giving you suggestions on how to improve your writing.

Academic Skills Advisors can help you to:
