Are you an international or domestic student?

Your first student card is free and it can be ordered online. To order your first card, or replace a lost or expired card, go to Student cards.

Eligible students can apply for an International Student Travel Pass. Please visit the Public transport concession card page and check the International Student Travel Pass section to check your eligibility and apply.

To make changes to your contact details:
  • Log in to Enrolment Online  and select My Student Record.
  • Check your personal details and edit if necessary.
To make other changes (e.g. name change, date of birth correction, change your citizenship or residency status) you will need to submit a request with evidence via the RMIT Connect portal below. For more information, please see the update your personal details page

The first step to Orientation and to a successful start to your studies is to complete the free How2RMIT online course. You’ll learn about timetabling, fees and loans, making friends, finding your way around, support services, and much more.

If you require supplies for your course, or looking to buy some RMIT merchandise, head instore or online to the RMIT Store. There are stores on the Bundoora and City campus. Find out more here.

Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is a term used to describe learning activities that use your academic learning in a ‘real life’ situation with a real industry or community partner. You may do an internship (placement) or a partner organisation might provide a project for you and your class to work on. These placements and projects are tied to one or more courses within your program and are formally assessed for credit.

Current students, who are over the age of 18, can choose to provide consent for RMIT University to discuss select administrative matters with a third party individual (usually a parent or other relative).
