*If your qualification was completed more than 10 years ago you will need to provide evidence of ongoing professional work and/or professional development in the same discipline as the program for which you are seeking entry to be granted advanced standing.
**Upon successful completion of the graduate certificate, you will have the opportunity to progress to the masters degree.

The Graduate Certificate in Marketing is a pathway to the Master of Marketing.
Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Marketing you can continue your studies in the Master of Marketing and receive 48 credit points worth of credit (equivalent to one semester of full-time study) for courses completed in the Graduate Certificate in Marketing.
If you have successfully completed one of the following qualifications* with a major in a business or related discipline, or an unrelated discipline with two years relevant work experience, you may be eligible for advanced standing as follows:

Upon successful completion of this masters degree, you may be eligible to undertake further studies in related programs at RMIT University, including postgraduate research programs, subject to the program's entrance requirements.
The online Master of Marketing encompasses courses that make up the online Graduate Certificate in Marketing, so if you need to exit the program early, you can earn a postgraduate qualification by successfully completing specified courses.
The Graduate Certificate is also a pathway to the Master degree for some students (see admissions).
