Direct RMIT application

  • have not yet commenced a VTAC application, and
  • you are not currently studying Year 12, and
  • are applying to only one program, or
  • have held a place in an RMIT program in the past year. 

VTAC application

Apply through VTAC if you:

  • are ineligible to apply direct to RMIT.

  1. Applicants who are required to apply for a student visa are recommended to apply and accept their offers for minimum of 4 weeks prior to program’s commencement date to allow sufficient visa processing time.
  2. Application with selection task or credit assessment and application for change of program must be submitted by 7 February.
  3. Applicants who are required to attend an interview with International Admissions must attend an interview by 9 January and accept their offers by 13 January.
