Third-party applications

Third-party applications may be integrated with RMIT's learning management system, Canvas.

As outlined in RMIT’s Student Privacy Statement, personal information such as first name, last name, RMIT student ID number, RMIT email address, as well as course data and assessment data, may be transferred to third parties while interacting with any of the applications list below. This data may be held in externally-hosted applications that are located outside of Victoria, Australia, or outside of Australia. Personal information may be disclosed to these providers, for the purposes described in the Student Privacy Policy.

Assessment Extension Tool	The Assessment Extensions Tool is a Canvas LTI application that simplifies the assessment extension process by enabling students and course coordinators to request and manage assessment extension from within their courses in Canvas. This extension is to be used only for 7 days extension for non-time based assessment by student and course cordinator.	Australia
Atomic Jolt	(For RMIT Vietnam only) Allows your teachers to create flexible, dynamic class interactions for you using discussions and polls in Canvas pages. Polls will help you see your own learning progress. Discussions let you interact with your peers about the course materials, similar to how you might do on a blog or news website.	Australia
Blackboard Ally Accessibility Report	Blackboard Ally Accessibility Report provides details about the accessibility of digital content within courses. An accessibility score for the course is provided and content with accessibility issues is highlighted.	Australia
Blackboard Ally Configuration	Blackboard Ally aims to improve the accessibility of digital learning content for students and staff.	Australia
Blackboard Collaborate Ultra	Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is a real-time video conferencing tool that is embedded in the Canvas LMS. It is the main platform used to host course webinars and virtual classrooms.	Australia
Blue Course Experience Survey	The Canvas and Course Experience Survey (CES) integration allows the CES survey to be accessible and completed via RMIT's learning management system (Canvas), removing the need for students to access the CES via an external website.	Canada

LibGuides	LibGuides is a hosted content management system that provides print and electronic resources to students, including journals articles, databases, and referencing and writing help. It also enables a Library page in Canvas, accessible via the course navigation menu.	Australia

LTI Redirect	The Redirect Tool adds a URL link to the side navigation bar of Canvas. When clicked, students will be redirected to the specified URL.	USA
