Kerry Ong is Acting Chief Customer Officer for IRESS Ltd, accountable for enabling financial planners and their teams to implement business frameworks, innovative tools, processes and systems to deliver quality advice across Australia. In his role, Kerry has responsibility for the consulting, coaching, training and support functions enabling the delivery of market leading advice solutions to build sustainable advice businesses that deliver great outcomes to clients.
Kerry has over 17 years’ experience in financial planning, both at a practitioner and leadership level in both the Australian and the United Kingdom. During his career, he has built a reputation for operational excellence, innovative strategic thinking, working with the highest level of integrity and a passion for improvement. Kerry has a passion to continue to build the profession and lends his time to strategically support the next generation of financial planners and leaders to succeed.
I have always wanted to use what I have learnt through my career to enable the future of the industry. I believe that education is the gateway to the development of really great employees of the future that inevitably benefits their lives and their employer’s needs. My goal is to provide input that can make a positive impact and help many live their ideal lives, through education, employment and beyond.
