Led by senior researchers from the Centre for Materials Innovation and Future Fashion (CMIFF), the streams embrace the broader research community, early career researchers and Higher Degree by Research candidates. The streams encompass theoretical and practice-based perspectives; technical, creative and applied approaches; the literal and imaginative, and explicit and tacit ways of knowing.

Interrogates the global fashion system to proposition distinctive and sustainable approaches to how fashion is produced, consumed and communicated.
Develops solutions for safer and healthier lives, and the environments we interact with, through the design and development of advanced materials and performance textiles.
