Melbourne’s most romantic hidden bar, with its own Sommelier, Chef and Mixologist, is tucked away in the old bluestone cellar of the former Victoria Brewery. Known for exceptional cocktails and specialising in back-vintage wines by the glass, there’s an extensive gluten-free European-style tapas menu and late-night kitchen open until 11pm Wednesday to Sunday. With no card, weekend, or holiday surcharges, and live jazz every Thursday, you’re bound to fall in love … because life’s too short not to.

Sigrid de Castella graduated RMIT in 2000 with a Bachelor of Business (Business Administration). Since then, she's pursued a long career across manufacturing as a business operations manager. Sigrid has also worked in corporate outsourcing as a business program manager and process specialist. In 2020 she wanted a change of pace. Sigrid and her husband, Antony Anderson, decided to open their own bar and bespoke distillery in the former Victoria Brewery in East Melbourne.
