Neil Hogan began writing science fiction in the late 1980s and after a few stops and starts, decided that completing a Bachelor of Arts (Creative Writing) at RMIT would give him better writing skills. Later, Neil completed a Bachelor of Media and Communication (Honours). He now runs Space Fiction Books.
