Luke worked for US firm Landmark Dividend for five years after graduating from RMIT with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) (Applied), in Los Angeles and Sydney. The last three years of this tenure was starting and then running their Australian subsidiary - LDC Infrastructure.

Luke and his brother James (another RMIT alumni) then started Gawk in 2018 - seeing a big gap in the outdoor advertising market in Regional Victoria.
