Inna Konopov has been involved in the fashion and textile industry for over 20 years. They have been active in developing and delivering a comprehensive range of courses in various areas of Fashion and Textile Merchandising.

Overview

RMIT Alumni Inna specialises in fabric and textile product development and environmental aspects of the fashion industry. Her coursework ranges from teaching students basics on fibres and yarns to advance and novel textile materials.

Their expertise is centred on sport and speciality apparel, comfort and performance of textiles for various applications, and environmental aspects of fashion merchandise. Their professional experience includes having had worked as a woven fabric designer and product developer of high quality and luxury bedding; the bedding was made in Australia with locally grown Alpaca, wool and other specialty natural fibres. 

Currently, they teach several courses at RMIT University, including Fashion Materials and Global Impacts of Fashion Merchandise.
