Women Researchers' Network

Established in 2013, The Women Researchers’ Network (WRN) at RMIT University is a vibrant forum dedicated to promoting gender equality and supporting women researchers at all career stages through a variety of initiatives, networking events and other regular functions. This year, the WRN proudly celebrates 11 years of progress in fostering a supportive space for women in research.

Our objectives

The WRN provides opportunitiest o promote gender equality within the RMIT community and to the wider public. Throughout initiatives and networking events, we aim to:

Advocate for change in gender equity policy, practice and behaviour

Provide a supportive environment

Foster aflourishing and supportive environment for women researchers

Connect to a wider community

Connect RMIT to a wider community of practice in gender equity

This year’s WRN Symposium – Invest in women: Accelerate progress celebrates the advances made by women researchers in the past decade. The Symposium aims to provide a day of networking and inspiration for RMIT researchers in order to continue our collective advocacy to advance gender equity policy, practice and work culture.
