RMIT Culture proudly presents Tim Ross' stage show Designing a Legacy Live, which premiered at Sydney Opera House to rave reviews. This is a one-man show that incorporates screenings of stories about who we are and why we live in the buildings we live in. Featuring the historic, the weird, the wonderful, the revolutionary, and the nostalgic aspects of Australian architecture and design.  

Come and celebrate the industrious architectural inclinations that have shaped the legacy buildings that loom in our midst, in this stage show that is part pep-talk, part Ted talk, part screening, and all parts entertaining, funny and informative, evacuating the annals of Australian architecture and design. 

With Tim's love of design apparent to everyone watching his new ABC TV show Designing a Legacy, it's fitting that Tim's live show will take place at The Capitol, one of Australia's most extraordinary and iconic heritage buildings. Tim has been highly active in campaigning for the preservation of Australian heritage buildings, and in 2019 he was awarded the National President's Prize from the Australian Institute of Architects, to "recognise him for his advocacy, activism and outstanding contribution to the architecture profession". 

Combining images, comedy, and architectural talk, 'Designing a Legacy Live' is a vibrant homage to Tim's passion for Australian architecture and design. As one of Australia's finest storytellers, don't miss Tim taking to the stage at The Capitol, one of Melbourne's architectural icons.
