Club committees use this form to fill out their club business plan for the year.

The Club Business Model Canvas captures your RMIT Student Life club business plans for 2024. Pease complete the Club Business Model Canvas with your committee and ensure you get input from all members.

Remember to keep it succinct and use dot points where appropriate. Please submit a separate budget and asset list using the attachment feature.

These are to be completed by 5pm, Monday 22 January 2024. They will be reviewed and feedback provided, re submission might be required.

A great value proposition demonstrates why the club exists. It introduces you to prospective and existing members, helps you make a strong first impression, explains the benefits of joining while letting members know what to expect.

What you do and when? Be sure to include sporting, creative, and social activities and any other events. Eg. Weekly training (Tuesday / Thursday), matches on weekends, weekly workshops, rehearsals

How does the club measure success? Think about membership numbers, club financial position, retention of members, surveys, net promoter score surveys, number trips and activities, attendance on trips and activities, ratio of students v non students (remember you need to have at least 50% RMIT students).

Note, remember current RMIT students fees need to be at least 50% cheaper than anyone else.

How do you promote your club? Which channels do you use (ie. Facebook, Instagram, Web, Email, Face to face, Orientation & Welcome events). How do you measure success of promotions? Do you have a dedicated Communications role on your committee? Do you have a communications strategy?

Who is the main club contact for RMIT? Who is the main contact for existing and potential members? Please include the committee member(s) in charge of looking after the club email account. Please list club email and social media accounts
