Medibank is the preferred OSHC provider for RMIT international students. This scholarship is available to international students studying Australian Year 12 or International Baccalaureate in Australia
Value and duration
- The total value of the scholarship is AU$10,000, one-off payment to be paid to student's Australian bank account after the first census date.
- Industry experience opportunity with Medibank.

Up to Five (5) scholarships are available.
Eligibility
In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must:
- be applying from Australia
- be a current year 12 student in Australia graduating in 2024
- be an international student holding a valid student visa or plan to apply for a student visa prior to the program commencement
- submit your application via VTAC and receive an offer from RMIT for an Associate degree or Undergraduate program
- not be an existing RMIT student

Terms and conditions
- Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 24 January 2025
- Accept your offer of admission to RMIT (including payment of applicable deposit fees) by Friday 31 January 2025
- This scholarship is not refundable
- This scholarship cannot be deferred to another year/intake and must be taken up in Semester 1 2025.
- This scholarship is only available to non-existing RMIT student
- This scholarship is for eligible students commencing an Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree program at RMIT in Semester 1 2025
- RMIT or Medibank may profile scholarship recipients
- Scholarship selection is based on academic merit
- Successful applicants will be invited to an induction session, where they will be given a guided tour of Medibank Head Office. They will also have the opportunity to attend Medibank workshops, participate in event-coordination for Medibank on Open Day, meet recent graduates working at Medibank, and be involved in a customer focus group.
- Applicants must not be in receipt of any other RMIT scholarship
- Successful applicants will be notified; unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted
- The scholarships will be offered on a rolling basis until exhausted
