Introducing our new name - RMIT University Pathways (RMIT UP)

RMIT Training is changing its name to RMIT University Pathways, or RMIT UP – ushering in a new era of growth and connection with a dynamic, inviting, and vibrant refreshed identity.

Starting Monday, 26 August, RMIT UP will be our official name, and we will discontinue the use of RMIT Training, along with the sub-brand RMIT English Worldwide (REW).

All existing services and offerings, such as Foundation Studies, English Language and University Group Programs, English Language Testing, CELTA, and Informit, will be encompassed under the RMIT UP banner.

Jake Heinrich, the CEO of RMIT Training, says our new name, which aligns with RMIT Training’s relocation to a modern and bespoke facility on Franklin St, embodies a sense of optimism and energy for the future.

“For more than 50 years, our services and offerings have consistently grown and evolved to meet the needs of international students, academics, and professionals both in Australia and around the world.

“The name RMIT University Pathways better reflects our mission and purpose, will help strengthen our market position, and assist us in expanding our product range in key and emerging markets.”

Jake says the RMIT UP acronym conveys the idea of advancing towards a goal through continuous learning, enhancement, and progress. It also marks a new and exciting new chapter for the organisation with a state-of-the-art campus and continuing learning and product innovations.

“We are thrilled to unlock the potential of this revitalised era for our organisation.”
