Encouraging and celebrating acts of kindness in our community
The Kindness Project is a chance for everyone at RMIT UP to come together as a community, to connect and celebrate acts of kindness. Join us by doing at least one act of kindness every day and sharing it on the wall below.
To add to the kindness wall click the + button in the bottom right-hand corner. A small box will pop up in the top left-hand corner of the page. Type your title and text into the box and use the buttons below to upload a photo, link share, search, snap, film, record, draw, etc! Your post will be approved by one of our moderators and is anonymous, so don’t be shy!
There is no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.

Congratulations to everyone who submitted work into the Ziggy Illustration Competition. The judging panel had a difficult task in choosing one winner so instead decided on a winner and runner up. Two out of the nineteen wonderful images will be printed onto a range of items including a tote bag, tea towel and coffee mug. We loved the different approaches and representations of Ziggy and felt that each of the works captured something of her kind and generous character. As ambassador of the kindness project and a much-loved member of RMIT UP, it is Ziggy’s role to provide companionship and gently watch over everybody's wellbeing. The two illustrations that were finally decided upon bring both inventiveness and tenderness and capture lovely aspects of Ziggy’s kind spirit.
