  • The RMIT-led Nano Letters study with WaveCyte Biotechnologies: 'Radio waves can tune up bacteria to become life-saving medicines'. There were nearly 30 articles and radio pieces about the research, see details attached. Online the story featured on Interesting EngineeringPhys.org and Earth.com, each of which have massive audiences, as well as more niche industry outlets such as The Science TimesPharmacy ITK and Laboratory News (UK), where it featured on the homepage, see below image. On radio, the story featured nationally on ABC Newsradio plus ABC Radio Darwin/Alice Springs and an extended live interview with Tharushi on 3CR Radio Melbourne. The news performed strongly on RMIT social media channels, with more than 17,000 views and 12 shares on LinkedIn, 10,700 views on Facebook and 8,700 on Instagram, plus nearly 3,000 on X (Twitter).
