Enterprise Bargaining: VE teachers and senior educators vote for a new agreement

VE teachers and senior educators will have the opportunity to vote for a New Agreement in November 2024.

RMIT has reached the conclusion of bargaining for a replacement for the RMIT Vocational Education Workplace Agreement 2019 and has decided to give our VE teaching employees the opportunity to consider the updated proposal by way of a formal vote in November.

The sector leading agreement contains significant benefits for our VE teaching community.

What does this mean for me?

There are no actions you need to take and we do not expect there to be any disruptions for our students during the vote campaign. In the lead up to the vote period in early November you may see an increased presence of ‘Vote YES’ materials across campus from RMIT and unions.
