Apprenticeships and traineeships combine training and employment. Learn on the job and earn money while studying a nationally recognised qualification.
RMIT offers a range of pre-apprenticeships and school-based apprenticeship/traineeships that range in duration between three and four years.
Please note that these programs are not available to international students.
A pre-apprenticeship gives you basic skills in your interest area and readies you for an apprenticeship. It can take up to six months and you do not need to be employed.
A school-based apprenticeship/traineeship combines part-time employment, school study and vocational training and allows Year 11 and 12 students to commence their apprenticeship or traineeship while at school.
Workplace-based training programs are developed with industry so will not only earn you a relevant nationally recognised qualification but also significantly increase your chance of employment or provide a pathway into further study.
Please note that the courses listed on this page are only available to Australian residents.

All of the above programs are apprenticeships and traineeships. Selected traineeship programs are only offered as group commencement. Speak with the vocational School responsible for the program for advice on enrolments.
I chose RMIT because it had the best training methods and the highest success rate for the program.
