RMIT Training is a 2022 Circle Back Initiative Employer – we commit to respond to every applicant

RMIT Training is proud to announce that in 2022, we have joined the Circle Back Initiative to show our commitment to ensure every candidate who applies for a role in our company receives an outcome response.

To highlight this commitment, we will feature a Circle Back Initiative badge in the careers section of our website and on job ads to let future candidates know that they will have a positive recruitment experience with us regardless of the outcome of their application.

As part of the Circle Back Initiative, employers commit to the following five standards:

  • Every applicant receives an “application received” email
  • Every unsuccessful application receives an outcome email
  • Every candidate assessed online, or phone interviewed receives an outcome email
  • Every candidate interviewed receives an outcome/feedback call
  • Job adverts do not include statements such as: “only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.”

One of our goals as an organisation is to attract great talent and in a competitive market, and it is vital to ensure all candidates who apply for roles at RMIT Training have a seamless and positive experience throughout the recruitment process.

RMIT Training’s Associate Director, People and Culture, Jackie Rosario, says, “At RMIT Training, we receive hundreds of applications from candidates keen to work with us, many more than we can hire. Those candidates take time to make their submissions and we believe it is important to acknowledge this effort and respond to each and every one of them.”

“We want to ensure we provide an excellent candidate experience and Circle Back is a natural part of this commitment to applicants. We are proud to be part of it.”

Creating a transparent process around recruitment will enable the company to build relationships with potential talent who may be a good fit when the right roles become available.

This commitment will need to be renewed each year to remain a Circle Back Initiative employer and it will continue to be a priority for RMIT Training.
