Professor Ehsan Gharaie is an accomplished educator, researcher, and senior research leader in the field of Construction Project Management. With 20 years of experience spanning tertiary education, project management, the construction industry, and the not-for-profit sector, he is recognised for his expertise in governance, strategic leadership, and stakeholder engagement.

In his leadership roles at RMIT, Professor Gharaie has played a pivotal role in shaping academic governance. He previously served as Deputy Chair of the Academic Board and Chair of the Higher Education Committee before being elected as Chair of the RMIT Academic Board. Ehsan's leadership is driven by a commitment to enhancing academic quality, fostering innovation, and strengthening institutional governance.
