A registered nurse of 10 years with expertise in intensive care nursing, currently working as an academic teacher/facilitator at RMIT.
As an academic facilitator and teacher, their aim is to develop students’ understanding of nursing and caring as a process, encouraging them to ask questions about their patients and their experiences, conducting assessments to answer those questions and analysing the information obtained to provide evidence-based care. Highly skilled at motivating students through positive encouragement and reinforcement of concepts via interactive classroom instruction and observation.
Participate in developing and improving nursing programs, designing innovative curricula and creating highly engaging didactic and clinical lessons which meet industry standards.
