Dr Shaoyu Zhao is an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow. He obtained his PhD at the University of Queensland in 2022. His research interests include advanced composite structures, molecular dynamics, mechanical metamaterials, graphene nanocomposites, etc. He has published over 40 journal papers with more than 2000 Google Scholar citations and an h-index of 26.
Dr Zhao is an Early Career Editorial Board Member of Engineering Structures (JCR Q1), International Journal of Structural Integrity (JCR Q1), International Journal of Smart and Nano Materials (JCR Q2), and Materials (JCR Q1).
